Tazewell Motor Lodge Rooms

Our host, Patrick, was extremely helpful in learning about the area since my brother and I are planning to move there. When we arrived at the lodge, Patrick showed us where to drop the carry-on trailer so we could explore the area freely. I was surprised to see that there were rooms at the back of the lodge as well as the front. Rooms were clean and everything promised was there and in working order. Angela in housekeeping, was also extremely helpful.

Convenient to our road trip. Patrick the host was friendly and knowledgeable about the local restaurants having lived there his entire life. The lodge is popular with motorcyclists and lake enthusiasts especially in the summer months. He did advise of the strict speed limits imposed by the city to avoid a ticket and having to return in person to pay the fine. He upgraded us to a “suite” at no extra cost. Thank you Patrick. .

It was comfortable. The accommodations were very simple which was reflected in the price. Very near (12 miles) from Cumberland Gap National Historic Site, which is well worth visiting.

The incredible hospitality of the hotel manager (I think his name was Patrick) was really exceptional! The room was very clean and had pretty much whatever you would need in a room.

Great Mom and Pop owned and ran motel. Clean , quiet , with a hot shower and comfortable bedding. Ran by Patrick who goes above and beyond for his guests. Will stay here everytime that I'm in Tazewell

Patrick does an excellent job managing the lodge. Best place for staying in the area to experience the Cumberland Gap. Asked for more pillows and received them promptly to make sleep more comfortable. Highly recommend for lodging.

Clean and quiet. If you need something staff will try and get it.

Enjoyed talking with Patrick . He was very helpful in giving info to my questions about the area. If in area again will stay there. It was centrally located to area of my interest to see.

They keep out the riff raff. The manager (Patrick) takes great pride in this modest hotel and it shows. I'll be back, in fact I would'nt stay anywhere else around here.

We liked everything. Tazewell Moter Lodge is the BEST! The the Best Rates! The Best Location! The Best Customer Service! Patrick always takes care of us when we come into town. We would NEVER consider going any where else!

Patrick was VERY accommodating during my stay. For my trip I encountered many hiccups, mainly last-minute fight changes and lack of a rental car. Despite this, he was very kind in working with me along with driving me to the grocery store while I got everything sorted out. I’m extremely grateful for his hospitality. The rooms were also very clean as well and they were cleaned daily which I really appreciated. Very satisfied overall.

Friendly receptionist, good location, comfortable mattress and clean. Nostalgic motel room. Back rooms are reasonably quiet.

our host, is a character and regaled us with stories. He was VERY helpful adjusting to my fragrance allergies, even walking us through multiple rooms to pick one. Family owned, very clean even though older vintage.

This was the best family-owned motel I've ever been in doesn't look like much from the outside but the rooms are awesome there's no musty smell everything's clean in great repair

This is owned by the same family of 30 + years ago! They maintain this property as their own home.....No question that we will stay here again. Management went out of their way to accommodate us

The gentleman who checked me was super friendly. He was very welcoming and gave suggestions on places to hike and eat. The room was clean and I was very pleased to see that the shower/tub was cleaner than what I've seen in more expensive hotels and lodges I've stayed in. The furniture is outdated, as are some of the other features, but I found it to be kinda cool. I can tell there have been efforts to update the rooms; specifically the walls and ceilings. They looked nice.
